Welcome to Eckankar in Indiana

Eckankar is a religion that teaches there is an audible life current known as the ECK, or Holy Spirit, that connects each of us with the heart of God. We can experience the ECK as inner Light and Sound. Through study and practice of the Spiritual Exercises of Eckankar, we learn to recognize the Light and Sound of God as It touches our lives and brings increased divine love.

For more information about Eckankar and membership, please visit the Main ECKANKAR Site at

ECK Worship Services

The public is warmly invited to ECK Worship Services. Each service focuses on an aspect of Eckankar. They often feature a reading from the ECK works, singing HU, talks, music, and a group discussion of spiritual principles at work in daily life. The service lasts about an hour. Join others seeking to bring more insight and divine love into their lives at this special celebration of the Light and Sound of God.

Community HU Songs

The Community HU Song encourages everyone to experience the HU. The purpose is to share the HU so that anyone of any religious belief can use this universal tool to gain spiritual benefits such as inner peace, spiritual understanding and freedom, a personal relationship with God, or whatever spiritual experience is right for them.

Introductory Presentations

You are invited to an hour-long, free presentation on Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God. Come to explore your own spiritual experiences and learn more about the teachings of Eckankar. Learn how to look within for answers to spiritual questions.

Discussion Classes

Join others in exploring an ECK book written by Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader of Eckankar, or by another ECK author. An ECK book discussion is a fun way to share insights and experiences and learn more about Eckankar.
Depending on the book, ECK book discussions meet either three or six times. You are welcome to attend all or some sessions, as you wish. See the events page for discussions near you.
